• No False Accusations: Intentionally filing false reports to defame, harass, or damage the reputation of a legitimate business or individual is strictly prohibited.
• Proper Evidence: You must provide legitimate evidence (e.g., screenshots, transaction IDs, chat logs) when reporting a scam. Fabricated evidence will result in an immediate ban.
• No Spam: Do not submit duplicate reports or use our platform to promote unauthorized services.

3. Content Ownership & Moderation

By submitting a report, image, or review to Capscan, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content across our platform and associated channels.

• Right to Investigate: We reserve the right to independently investigate any submitted claim before approving it for public view.
• Right to Remove: We reserve the right to reject, edit, or delete any report or content that violates our guidelines, lacks sufficient evidence, or is deemed inappropriate by our moderation team.

4. Business Verification

Businesses may apply for verification on Capscan by submitting valid trade licenses, NID, and operational data. We reserve the right to grant, deny, or revoke "Verified" status at our sole discretion based on user feedback, legal standing, or failure to resolve consumer complaints.

5. Legal Cooperation

Capscan actively cooperates with law enforcement agencies in Bangladesh. If requested by legal authorities through proper channels, we may share submitted data, including scammer details, fraud evidence, and user IP logs, to assist in formal legal investigations.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

Capscan acts as an intermediary for community-driven information. While we strive to verify reports, we do not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-submitted content.

• We are not a court of law. A report on our platform represents a user's claim and our preliminary findings, not a legal conviction.
• We are not liable for any financial losses, damages, or reputational harm arising from the use of our platform, whether by consumers relying on our data or businesses listed on our site.
• Users utilize the information on Capscan entirely at their own risk.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
