Community guidelines

Truth, evidence and respect

Capscan is only as strong as its community. These rules keep the platform trustworthy and fair for everyone.

The basics

  1. Be truthful. Describe only what happened, from your own experience. No guesses or rumours.
  2. Show evidence. Attach screenshots, transaction IDs or receipts. Fabricated or edited evidence leads to a permanent ban.
  3. Protect privacy. Share only what is needed to describe the scam. Do not publish anyone’s NID, home address or family details.
  4. Stay respectful. No abuse, threats, hate, or attacks on religion or ethnicity.

Do’s and don’ts

✓ Do

  • Mention the date, amount and payment method
  • Review good experiences too — honest businesses deserve credit
  • Correct or update your own report if something changes
  • Flag reports or reviews that look suspicious

✕ Don’t

  • File false reports out of personal grudges or competition
  • Post the same incident several times, or spam
  • Write reviews in exchange for money or favours
  • Review your own business

How moderation works

Every report is checked by the moderators and published only after an admin approves it. Anyone can still raise a complaint after publication, and the case is reviewed again.

When rules are broken

  • Content may be edited, hidden or removed
  • Repeated or serious violations lead to a permanent ban
  • Where the law requires, we cooperate with law enforcement
